Full Itinerary
Depart Florence
Guests will leave the meeting point together at their allocated time and head straight to the private estate where you’ll find the high-tech kitchen you’ll be using for the day – you’ll feel like a real professional chef!
Select Your Produce
Once our friendly chefs and guides have all been introduced, you will head out into the estate garden to handpick some of your ingredients to be used during the cooking class. Florence is known for its rich and fertile surroundings, so you’ll quite literally be picking the cream of the crop. One of our guides will passionately talk you through all the produce grown in the garden, so you can learn a thing or two as you prepare to get cooking.
A Hands-On Experience
The fun really begins when the group enter the kitchen and start preparing the food. Led by our entertaining and knowledgeable chefs, we can promise this experience is not something you’ll forget in a hurry.
The first step is to prepare the gelato. Choose from a variety of different flavours and create your personal mixture before freezing it to get back to later. The group will then receive an informative introduction to the art of pizza making, the Italian way. Once you’ve learnt the basics, you’ll put your newfound knowledge into practice and start bringing together your very own dough!
Roll up your sleeves, knead, roll and decorate your creation with the toppings picked earlier from the garden. You’ll cook your pizzas in the wood fire oven and enjoy them fresh with a glass of wine.
Good to Know: In this cooking class, Florence’s most popular beverage will be on offer – Chianti Classico Wine.
The gelato making continues with further entertaining instruction from the chefs and a live demonstration with liquid nitrogen. Once the delicious treat is ready you’ll be able to sit back with your fellow guests and enjoy.

Absolutely the best experience! The staff was entertaining, fun, patient and just the best. The whole process from the location to kitchen layout to greetings with appetizer and wine to instruction were all well-coordinated. We had the best time ever away from the crowds of the city.

Pizza and Gelato with a twist (Gloria, Tomas, Tiziano)
by: Mike D on Tripadvisor
Fabulous, Gloria, Tomas and Tiziano were tremendous. Very educational on both pizza and gelato. The end results were magnificent. The pistachio gelato with fresh sage and sea salt was amazing. Learning the correct way to make homemade pizza dough will be used for the rest of my life!!! The tour was extra special because of the people we met. Australia, England and several couples from the States. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence.

Absolutely wonderful experience.

This class was one of the absolute highlights of a fantastic trip. We’re still thinking about the pizza we made over a week ago.
Angela’s gelato making portion was wonderful. It explained so well the breakdown of why gelato was different that ice cream, how to get everything blended together right, the multitude of flavor options. And let’s not forget her mad science experiment with the liquid nitrogen on the fun add ins. My kids thought it was fantastic. And tasty.
Now, Thomas and Tiziano’s pizza making section was a blast. Their rapport was amazing. They explained things so well, with a wonderful sense of humor (please don’t mention the imperial system in front of Thomas, his eye may twitch). My kids enjoyed this as well and even my youngest daughter (9 years old) ate almost her entire pizza. As did the rest of the family. Because it was truly outstanding. Such fresh ingredients, and cooked right in front of you to perfection.
We were raving about this class to everyone and sending folks the link immediately after. I’d do it again tomorrow if I could handle the 9 hour flight so soon!
Within a week, Angela emailed us all the recipes we’d need to recreate some of these recipes back here at home. I can only hope it’ll give us a flashback of eating fresh pizza and gelato on a beautiful hilltop farm in Tuscany again.
A Tuscan Treat
by: Jesse A on Tripadvisor
This was fantastic! I learned so much about gelato and how to balance flavors with sugars and fat, now it’s time to put it to the test at home. We make homemade pizza all the time at home, but I still picked up quite a few pointers from our instructors. The food was fantastic, the teachers were energetic and enthusiastic, and the location was incredible. Would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone headed to Firenze or Tuscany.
