Looking for a fabulous day under the Tuscan sun?

Famous for its wealth of art, history, striking landscapes, delicious food and superb wines, Tuscany really does have it all! See the Best of Tuscany on this full-day guided coach trip from Florence!

Visit Siena

View Siena through the eyes of a locvineyardal as you join a guided walking tour through the medieval city made up of yellow-ochre buildings, terracotta rooftops and green shutters. Learn about the world’s oldest bank, see Piazza del Campo, the site of the 600 year old Palio horserace, and admire the interior of the Duomo, a treasure chest of artworks. Afterwards, enjoy Siena at your own pace with free time for shopping or relaxing in an open air cafe.

A Tuscan lunch at a Chianti wineyard

Next visit an organic family run wine estate – the highlight of the day! Visit the farm, enjoy an informal wine tasting lesson and a traditional Tuscan lunch with plenty of wine, in the most gorgeous location overlooking stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Take the opportunity to meet fellow travellers while feasting on fresh organic farm food of homemade pasta, cured meats (homemade prosciutto and salami), local cheeses, a real garden salad and Tuscan biscotti.

San Gimignano

After lunch we visit the enchanting hilltop town of San Gimignano where you have free time to roam the picturesque streets and squares, browse the local shops, try an award-winning gelato and walk among the town’s famous medieval towers.

Scenic country drive & Pisa

A scenic drive through classic Tuscan countryside will take you to your final stop, Pisa. Here, take a close inspection of the iconic Leaning Tower, the Cathedral and the Baptistery. A brief tour of the historic heart of Pisa will show you another side of the city.

This was a fantastic tour. It was extremely well organised, I loved every minute. Elisa, our tour guide had a wealth of knowledge, which she delivered to us with a fab sense of humour. I would highly recommend this tour

I gave 3 stars because the views were spectacular. The tour leaders were the worst we have had. All of the tours were great, the tour leaders really made it personal. This tour was about 75 people with 2 leaders. I felt like I was just being herded from site to site. Valentina was nice but she didn’t seem connected or sincere. Though I booked the tour in English the tour was primarily in Spanish as most of the group was Spanish speaking. The tour guide did do a nice job translating but I feel that we missed a lot of information. I’m not fluent in Spanish but I do know that we missed a few explanations. I’m not sure I would trust this company. Not the quality tour I expected

Tuscany is great! This tour from start to finish is 12 hours, or at least ours was (815 meet, 20:15 return). Our guide was great and the stops were nice. Wish the weather would have cooperated but obviously nobody can control that, but maybe some contingency plans for rain wouldn’t hurt. I have no recall of Siena since all I saw were my feet and top of umbrella.

I would certainly recommend this company. They are extremely attentive, cheerful and helpful. Olivia was wonderful, always worried about us, super funny and sweet. We can't go to Florence without touring with Walkabout tours and without meeting this AMAZING Toscana! Thank you so much Walkabout Tours.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this day trip. Elisa our guide was brilliant, really knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We LOVED every minute. The cities and towns were so interesting, and the meal at the vineyard was excellent - tasty and plentiful. (As was the wine!!) We were lucky enough to be able to purchase tickets to climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa when we got there - but I would recommend pre-purchasing them if you can to avoid possible disappointment. This trip is a MUST as you see so many wonderful places in ONE DAY. Thank you Elisa and Walkabout Florence I will also be recommending you to my friends.

This tour was the highlight of our visit to Florence. All the stops were very well coordinated with enough time to freely roam around at each location. Our guide Olivia was very charismatic and knowledgeable. The bus ride was smooth and comfortable thanks to our driver Mauro. Highly recommended!

Sarah was a wonderful host, providing information during the bus rides, answering questions and giving recommendations for the remainder of our Italy trip. The group was large, but well organized. I just wish we had more time in San Gimignano! Highly recommend this tour if you’re staying in Florence for a few days.

We went on a day tour of Siena, San Gimignano & Pisa last summer (July 2018). The tour was well organized, and our guide Olivia was great with tons of information, and kept the group motivated through the long day. We were travelling with our 5 year old daughter, and all of us had a good time. Strongly recommend the tour if you have only a limited time in Florence, and still would like to hit the highlights of Tuscany. Siena deserves at least an overnight stay - so that was our only regret after taking the tour! Btw, the lunch with vine at the farm was excellent and they cater to vegetarians.

Our guide, Sarah was young, fun, and had a great sense of humor. As someone who generally isn't a "history" person, I genuinely enjoyed listening to what she had to say about certain cities, regions, and their relationships with each other. The farm was definitely a highlight- great wine, amazing views, and delicious food. (plus friendly dogs on property!) The tour group was much bigger than we anticipated, but everyone was comfortable on the bus, and despite a couple of people being late to our "scheduled meeting points" after free time, everything flowed very smoothly. A highlight of our trip.
