1880 Reviews
Italy is known all over the world for its delicious cuisine, but there’s only one answer we can give when asked which region one should visit for an unforgettable cooking class: Florence, of course! Home to some of the country’s finest fresh produce, there really is no better place to learn the techniques from the masters of Italian pizza and gelato making.

Opportunity to handpick your ingredients from the garden

Pizza and gelato cooking class with a professional chef

An enjoyable meal together surrounded by the stunning private estate

Full Itinerary

Depart Florence

Guests will leave the meeting point together at their allocated time and head straight to the private estate where you’ll find the high-tech kitchen you’ll be using for the day – you’ll feel like a real professional chef!

Select Your Produce

Once our friendly chefs and guides have all been introduced, you will head out into the estate garden to handpick some of your ingredients to be used during the cooking class. Florence is known for its rich and fertile surroundings, so you’ll quite literally be picking the cream of the crop. One of our guides will passionately talk you through all the produce grown in the garden, so you can learn a thing or two as you prepare to get cooking.

A Hands-On Experience

The fun really begins when the group enter the kitchen and start preparing the food. Led by our entertaining and knowledgeable chefs, we can promise this experience is not something you’ll forget in a hurry.

The first step is to prepare the gelato. Choose from a variety of different flavours and create your personal mixture before freezing it to get back to later. The group will then receive an informative introduction to the art of pizza making, the Italian way. Once you’ve learnt the basics, you’ll put your newfound knowledge into practice and start bringing together your very own dough!

Roll up your sleeves, knead, roll and decorate your creation with the toppings picked earlier from the garden. You’ll cook your pizzas in the wood fire oven and enjoy them fresh with a glass of wine.

Good to Know: In this cooking class, Florence’s most popular beverage will be on offer – Chianti Classico Wine.

The gelato making continues with further entertaining instruction from the chefs and a live demonstration with liquid nitrogen. Once the delicious treat is ready you’ll be able to sit back with your fellow guests and enjoy.

The perfect day! (Sorry for the late review)
The perfect day! (Sorry for the late review)
My sincerest apologies for such an overdue review! I had the pleasure of going on the tour of cinque Terre with Gabriel as our guide In September. It was a fantastic day trip away whilst I was staying in Florence. I was travelling alone but the group was a mix of adults (solo travellers/ couples/ family) approx 12. Gabriel was an great tour guide from beginning to end pointing out sights of interest on route to our first destination and telling us all about the different towns as we travelled around. Everything was organised by himself and the company. All was included and the day ran smoothly be it on a very tight schedule. We were able to stop for coffee and gelato and even get a swim in the sea before the boat at the end. The hike was only between 2 of the 5 towns, the rest were trains and a boat ride at the end however it was so hot I’m glad this was the case. The perfect day. I highly recommend! Thank you so much!

We don't usually get around to leaving reviews (sorry for all the places we have been before!), however, we felt that you needed to hear about this one. As a big fan of Pizza, I found this class when planning a tour of Tuscany - originally planned for March 20 but had to change it to October 20 due to Covid. We also changed our plans to make sure we were in Florence for the day this took place and luckily the Covid impact gave us a small class of 5 which made it more personal. Angela was an expert on Gelato and helped us understand the science behind it before showing us how to make our own! Luigi and Luca the tag-team showed us the whole process of making Pizza and our faces hurt from laughing so much at they way Luca added his touch. Overall we had the best time and it was 100% worth going on. Get involved on this one! P.S thanks for the recipes, we will be practicing during lockdown!
Absolutely best thing to do!

I've visited a lot of cooking classes all over the place. But THIS is the best one ever. Luca is absolutely amazing and funny person and makes this experience unforgettable. Gelato master Angela have us a lot of insides into gelato cooking. I'm already planning my next visit to repeat this.

We had a wonderful evening at this cute getaway just a couple minutes drive from Florence city centre. The chefs were very entertaining and skilled. Thanks to them we were able to make a yummy pizza & a delicious pistachio gelato and then enjoy them! They even offered a tiramisu for dessert because it was my birthday ;) We were so happy with this experience that we decided to give it a try at home, and the result was awesome! Cheers to this great team

Amazing time with the chefs!
Amazing time with the chefs!
Luca, Cris and Luigi showed us all a wonderful time for our last days in Florence, with this very skillful and amazing lesson on how to make a typical napolitan pizza and gelato. Very loving, listen to request (one of us is lactose intolerant but it was not an issue !) and lots of fun. One of the main highlights of our trip in Tuscany, and of any of our trips actually. To top it all the food we made was incredibly tasty, ans we got sent the recipees afterwards via email.
